Planning and development directorate is working to improve the achievements of the Institute during the preparation of the plan and strategic development programs set out as per the objectives, vision and mission of the Institute, through:
  1. Preparing a strategic plan for the Institute, that conforms to the objectives, vision, and mission of the institute in coordination with different departments and following them up.
  2. Prepare annual plans of the Institute in accordance with the strategic plan and in coordination with various departments at the Institute.
  3. Follow up the implementation of the annual plans of the Institute and the preparation of periodic reports.
  4. Recommend and suggest development studies in the light of the comprehensive review of the situation and achievements, difficulties and obstacles faced by departments and administrative units.
  5. Identify the training needs of Institute's staff.
  6. Develop a educational database and internal and external training and access to its programs.
  7. Preparation of the annual training plan for staff of the Institute and the implementation of follow-up after their adoption
  8. Preparation of the annual plan for emission of institute's members for higher Studies and follow up the implementation after adoption.
  9. Coordination with different departments at the Institute for the development of policies, procedures, regulations and labor standards at the Institute.
  10. Provide statistics and information necessary for the preparation of plans of the Institute.
  11. Preparation of annual reports and other studies and reports of the achievements of the Institute in coordination with various departments.
  12. Provide other organizations with due statistics and information about the activity of the Institute in accordance with the instructions and procedures adopted.
